Listed in this auction is a used vintage remington r4353 bullet/big muskrat two-blade pocket knife with beautiful bronw bone handles. The handles have no cracks or chips and are well matched in color. The front handle has the renowned bullet shield. This knife has two blades a sapy or skinner blade and a muskrat or scimeter blade.
Both blades have been sharpened, have a good snap both ways, have no side to side movement, have scattered stains and patina, and are very sharp. Both frontside blade tangs have the remington umc inside the circle and made in u. S. A. Outside the circle.
This dates the knife 1924-1933. The rearside blade tang, of the muskrat blade, has the r4353 pattern number. The r4353 bullet knife has a mint book value of $3000.00. This knife is not mint, but it is a high quality knife and can be purchased for just a fraction of the mint book value.
