Ixl G Wostenholm Son Sheffield Bowie Awesome

Howdy, this is top of the line for bowie collector or historian. This is 12 1/2 inches of classic elegance.

The bowie has the classic blade with a saber line and double swedge beautifully done. The 8 1/4 inch blade has the etch g. Wostenholm & son washington works sheffield in three lines.

The ricasso has a huge i-xl etch that is heavily struck. Translated to mean i excell, in reference ot the quality and workmanship of this piece. 4 1/2 inch english two piece stag handles with four pins no each side and a pointed bar shield. The german silver guard and handle which is framework pinned to the tang. The sheath is nickel and well sewn leather with the belt holder. The sheath si nice but it is newer made and holds the knife very securely. Very snug fit. This knife is a classic bowie in every sense of the word and would be the highlight of any bowie knife or historical interest collection.
